Residential installations balance three competing asks: light control, acoustic warmth, and the ability to show personally meaningful imagery at the scale of a wall. OrangePiel prints on blackout, light-filtering, and solar-screen fabrics — blackout rated for 100% opacity at full draw, solar-screen available in 1-14% openness — with custom printing at up to 1440 DPI using dye-sublimation on PVC-free, GREENGUARD Gold-certified materials. Single-panel widths reach 144 inches, a dimension most competitors cannot match, which matters for great-room walls, oversized sliders, and picture windows in renovated homes. Motorized options integrate with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit; chain-drive and cordless spring-assist are standard alternatives. For residential projects the typical product mix is printed roller shades in the primary bedrooms, acoustic panels in media rooms and open living spaces, and occasional printed wall murals as statement pieces.
